(1) Celebrate Bastille Day!
9:00am @ Greenwich Town Hall
Join the Alliance Française of Greenwich as they celebrate Bastille Day with a French flag raising ceremony in front of Town Hall. AFG President, Renée Ketcham will honor the longstanding relationship between France and the United States that dates back to the American Revolution, and First Selectman, Fred Camillo will read a proclamation.Students Riona McKersie and Indira Brou will be recognized for their respective projects and awards honoring the bicentennial of the Marquis de Lafayette’s stop in Greenwich on his “Farewell Tour” of the U.S. The event is free and all are welcome. Join Voices Center of Resilience Mindful Moment series facilitated by Meg Rooney, licensed yoga instructor and mindfulness coach. It is important to create space to allow for an abundance of gratitude.

(3) Get in Touch with your Inner Movie Critic
3:45 to 5:30pm @ Perrot Memorial Library
It’s almost the weekend, which means it’s time to have fun! Get in touch with your inner movie critic! Eat snack while you watch an arguably bad movie. Heckling is encouraged! End with a vote: Was it bad, or was it so bad it’s good?Come to the Perrot Library to see “Good Burger” (Rated PG). This program is for children ages 8-13. Doors open at 3:45pm, and the movie will start promptly at 4pm. Snacks will be provided, but please bring your own water bottle. For more information, click here.
(4) Make it a Movie Night with the Whole Family!
7:30pm @ Banksville Community House
Relive the adventure and magic in one of the most beloved motion pictures of all-time, “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial”. Get the family together and come to the Banksville Community House for a screening of this classic. There will be complimentary popcorn! The cost is $5 for Non-Members and free for Members. (5) Calling All Swimmers!
The 35th Annual Greenwich Point One Mile Swim will be held Saturday, July 13 at Tod’s Point. The race starts at 7:30am. The event is sponsored by The Greenwich Swim Committee and the YMCA of Greenwich. will contribute to the YMCA of Greenwich’s Swim School Scholarships, providing children from our community access to vital swim instruction and water safety skills.
